Serif Labs Releases Affinity Designer for iPad
British company Serif Labs has released Affinity Designer, a competitor to Adobe Illustrator, for the iPad. It is the first time that the application is available on the Apple tablet. Affinity Photo for iPad came out earlier.
Affinity Designer offers, among other things, the possibility to stabilize the input of Apple Pencil on iPads, claims Serif Labs. Users can zoom in up to a million times on vector graphics in the app, which will be available in the App Store starting Wednesday.
Designer follows after Photo’s iPad release last month. Of the Affinity programs, only Publisher is not yet available for the Apple tablet. It is unknown if a release for iPhones will follow later.
