Sennheiser releases CX True Wireless earplugs in July for 129 euros
Sennheiser introduces its CX True Wireless earplugs. These wireless earbuds have a battery life of nine hours and support for Siri and the Google Assistant. The CX True Wireless earplugs will be released next month and cost 129 euros.
Sennheiser provides the CX True Wireless earbuds with a Bluetooth 5.2 connection with support for the aptX, AAC and SBC audio codecs, the company reports in a press release . The CX True Wireless earbuds each have a 7mm driver. According to the company, the CX True Wireless last up to 9 hours, but with the included charging case, this battery life can be extended to a maximum of 27 hours, claims Sennheiser. The case is charged via USB-C.
The manufacturer also offers a Smart Control app for iOS and Android. This allows users to set the equalizer settings of the earplugs, among other things. The CX True Wireless earbuds also have a Sidetone feature, which allows users to listen to their own voice during phone calls. The earbuds are equipped with touch control, which becomes customizable after a firmware update. The earplugs have no active noise cancellation
The earplugs are splash-resistant with an IPX4 rating and come with silicone tips in four different sizes. Sennheiser will release the CX True Wireless earplugs on July 8 in black and white for a suggested retail price of 129 euros.
