Sennheiser introduces CX 400BT wireless earphones with seven hours of battery life
Sennheiser has shown the CX 400BT True Wireless, wireless earbuds that have a battery life of seven hours. With the included charging and storage box, this battery life is twenty hours. The ears are available later this month for 199 euros.
The CX 400BT True Wireless earphones are of the in-ear type and have 7mm drivers. The earplugs work together with the Sennheiser Smart Control app, with which, among other things, the equalizer can be controlled. For control, the earbuds use adjustable, touch-sensitive buttons. These buttons allow users to adjust the sound level, record or stop phone calls and call voice assistants.
There is no support for active noise canceling, the earplugs are also not IPX certified for water resistance, for example. The earplugs can handle bluetooth version 5.1 and have support for sbc, aac and aptx. The right earbud is the main earbud and is responsible for the bluetooth connection. According to Sennheiser, users can use this earplug standalone for telephone calls, for example.
The earplugs come with a storage box that provides thirteen hours of battery life and four silicone earplug sets. They are available in white and black and are on sale from September 15 for 199 euros.
