Adobe Flash again appears to be dealing with a vulnerability that allows attackers to break into computer systems. There would already be an exploit that is being abused by hackers, according to security researchers.

It is a zero-day vulnerability in Adobe Flash, which was discovered by researchers at the antivirus company Trend Micro. The most recent version of the Flash software, with version number 19.0.0.207, released Monday is also susceptible to the vulnerability. Adobe informs Ars Technica through a spokesperson that it is investigating the problems.

According to Trend Micro, there is an exploit that is used by malicious people to break into computers. It would be the same hackers who are part of the so-called Operation Pawn Storm and who mainly target politicians. For example, these hackers have broken into computer systems of the White House, NATO and the governments of several countries.

It’s not the first time a zero-day vulnerability has been discovered in Flash; this has happened several times this year. Due to the numerous security issues, there are many voices to stop using the technology. Google, for example, is switching to HTML5 due to the lack of security.
