Second Shadow of the Tomb Raider Expansion Coming Dec 18

The Pillar, the latest Shadow of the Tomb Raider expansion, releases December 18 for Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. in The Pillar, Lara Croft sets out to uncover the truth behind the legend of the Mayan apocalypse.

On the official Tomb Raider Twitter page the developers shared a trailer showing the development process of the dlc. Developer Eidos-Montréal shows, among other things, gameplay and concept sketches of The Pillar. Little is known about the story and the rest of the content. In any case, Shadow of the Tomb Raider producer Jonathan Dahan promises that the expansion will contain “many more tombs.”

Shadow of the Tomb Raider was released on September 14, 2018. A release for macOS and Linux is planned for 2019, but there is no exact release date yet. The Pillar is now the second expansion of the game. On November 10, the first expansion, called The Forge, was released. It includes new modes, tools and a campaign that can be played cooperatively.
