The hackers who broke into Sony’s servers last month stole the script for the new James Bond film Specter. They may want to publish the script on the internet. Previously, five Sony films that are still in cinemas have been released online.

The script for Specter was stolen when hackers broke into the servers of publisher Sony last month, the makers of the film have admitted. They are concerned that the burglars will publish the script on the internet, Reuters news agency reported. The film is due to be released in November next year and is not yet finished. Despite the hack, Sony continues to produce its films, a company spokesperson said.

It is not the first time that material from Sony has come out of the large-scale hack last month. The hackers previously published five Sony films that are still in cinemas and several other company details, such as personal details of employees and pay slips, were put online. Sony tries to stop the download of the stolen data.
