Sapphire has announced two RX 480 cards in its Nitro+ line: a 4GB and an 8GB model. The cards are delivered overclocked and are equipped with a dual fan cooling. Sapphire follows suit with some other manufacturers with custom RX 480 cards.

Sapphire has equipped its Nitro+ versions of the Radeon RX 480 with two 95mm fans. The manufacturer has also provided its Sapphire Trixx 3.0 software with Fan Check, which can reveal problems with the fan. In case of problems, a fan can be replaced after unscrewing a single screw.

The Nitro+ Radeon RX 480 with 8GB gddr5 has a clock speed of 1342MHz, which runs at 1306MHz with 4GB. In both cases, that’s faster than the stock RX 480, which does its job at 1266MHz. The manufacturer has placed an 8-pin power connector for further overclocking. Sapphire will make the cards available next week, with the 8GB version getting a suggested retail price of $269 and the 4GB version of $210.

Sapphire isn’t the only AMD partner to announce variants of the RX 480. For example, Gigabyte released the G1 Gaming in a 4GB and 8GB version. These models feature two 90mm fans in a Windforce cooler, a 6+2-phase power supply and an 8-pin connection.

In addition, the Radeon RX 480 Red Devil from PowerColor appeared. This AMD partner only releases this model in an 8GB version. The clock speed is 1330MHz, where a cooler with three 80mm fans must keep the card at the right temperature. There is a switch for an overclocking mode and a 6+1 phase power supply and an 8-pin power connector should serve the user. PowerColor will release the card July 29 for a suggested retail price of $269.
