Samyang 35mm f/1.2 for aps-c system cameras will be released in September
South Korean Samyang will release a manually adjustable 35mm lens without autofocus for system cameras in September. The 35mm f/1.2 will be available in versions with Sony E, Micro Four Thirds, Fujifilm X and Canon M mounts.
The Samyang 35mm F1.2 ED AS UMC CS has an optical design consisting of nine lens elements in seven groups. Of these, two lenses are aspherical to minimize image errors. An extra low dispersion element has also been applied to the design.
The diaphragm has nine circular blades and a maximum opening of f/1.2, with a minimum of f/16. The minimum distance at which you can focus is 38 centimeters. The lens has a filter size of 62mm.
Depending on the required mount, the lens weighs between 420 and 433 grams. The smallest version measures 73mm in length and has a diameter of 67.5mm. The lens is available from September and has a suggested retail price of 450 euros.
