Samsung seems to be working on a tablet with a screen diagonal of 8 “that is probably intended for the budget market. The Korean manufacturer has not yet announced the device itself, but it has already appeared at inspection authorities.

The Gadgetz Arena website noted that the yet-unannounced Samsung tablet has appeared in the databases of the Bluetooth SIG and the Wi-Fi Alliance, two regulatory bodies. It concerns the model with number SM-T375S, of which most specifications are not yet clear. However, an 8 “screen diagonal is mentioned and Android is running on the tablet, although it is not known which version it is.

According to data from Zauba, a database that keeps track of imports and exports for India, the value of the SM-T375S has been determined at 6792 Indian Rupees, or about 94 euros. This indicates that Samsung wants to serve the budget market with the tablet. Incidentally, it should be noted that the retail price is probably slightly higher.

Because Samsung has not yet announced the tablet, it is unclear when the device should be on the market. Given that the SM-T375S, which will probably be sold under a different name, has already reached the inspection authorities, an announcement in the near future is plausible.
