Samsung will release a 5g phone for 379 euros in November
Samsung will release its cheapest 5g phone yet in November. The Galaxy A42 5G has a large OLED screen, but the manufacturer has disclosed few details about the upcoming smartphone.
The OLED screen of the Galaxy A42 5G has dimensions of 15.3×6.9cm, with an area of 105 square centimeters, a diagonal of 6.6 “and a resolution of probably 2400×1080 pixels, which equates to an aspect ratio of 20: 9. screen has a teardrop-shaped notch for the front camera.
The back has four different shades and shows four camera lenses in a square arrangement. Samsung has not disclosed further details. Previous rumors have indicated that the phone will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 690-soc, the cheapest soc from the US chip designer at 5g. The battery would have a capacity of 5000mAh.
The A42 5G is admittedly the cheapest Samsung smartphone with 5g so far, but cheaper models with the new network technology have already appeared. The Motorola Moto G 5G Plus came out for 349 euros this summer, while Xiaomi’s Mi 10 Lite is now available for around 300 euros. Xiaomi has also announced that an even cheaper model is arriving in the Mi 10 line and will go on sale for under 300 euros. The Galaxy A42 5G will be released in November for 379 euros.
