Samsung site confirms arrival of Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra with notch in screen

Samsung has posted a photo on a Bixby support page showing an unannounced tablet with a notch in the screen. According to a text accompanying the image, it is the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.

Samsung’s page on new Bixby features shows a horizontally placed tablet with a notch in the center of the top of the screen. The image corresponds to previously released renders of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. When the mouse is hovered over the image, a text field that talks about a Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra appears.

According to previous rumors, the S8 Ultra will have a 14.8″-120Hz OLED screen with a resolution of 2960×1848 pixels, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-soc and up to 16GB of memory. Storage would be a maximum of 512GB and the battery would be 11,200mAh. The tablet will get 13-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors on the back, the 8-megapixel variant would be for a wide-angle camera, two 12-megapixel selfie cameras on the front. Samsung may unveil the tablet on February 8 along with the Galaxy S22 smartphones. there will also be smaller S8 tablets without a notch.
