Samsung presents new E-line of Galaxy smartphones
Samsung has announced two smartphones in a new line of Galaxys. The Galaxy E7 is a mid-range phone with a 5.5″ screen, while the E5 is almost the same device, but in a smaller body and with a 5″ screen.
Both phones come with Android 4.4 and have a thickness of 7.3mm, Samsung says. The phones also both have a Super Amoled screen from Samsung itself. In both cases, the resolution is 1280×720 pixels.
The Galaxy E7, with type number E700F, has a 5.5″ screen. At 15.1×7.7cm, the housing is not particularly large for a phone with this screen size. The device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410-soc, with four Cortex A53 processor cores at 1.2 GHz and an Adreno 306 GPU. The RAM has a size of 2 GB, the storage is 16 GB. The camera on the back has a resolution of thirteen megapixels, while Samsung has a camera with a resolution of 13 megapixels on the front. of five megapixels.
It seems that the Galaxy E5 has the same Snapdragon 410 processor, but it is not completely clear. The 5″ screen also has a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and the housing is at 14.1x7cm a fraction smaller than that of the Galaxy S5. The camera also has a lower maximum resolution at eight megapixels than that in the E7.
The new E-series resembles a variant with a plastic housing on the previously presented devices in the Galaxy A series, which have a metal housing.
