Samsung has presented its thinnest smartphone to date. The Galaxy A8 has a 5.9mm thick metal housing, making it thinner than the 6.3mm thick Galaxy A7. Despite this, the manufacturer has received a battery of 3050mAh.

The Galaxy A8, which Samsung unveiled in China, is 15.8×7.7 cm in size and has a 5.7″ screen. The device therefore has hardly any bezels on the sides.
