Samsung plans January 14 event to announce Galaxy S21
Samsung has posted an invitation online for an event where the company is likely to showcase its Galaxy S21 phones. The event is in a week and a half. The date January 14 had been around for several months.
The event will take place on January 14, according to the invitation. This is an event that can be followed via a live stream. Samsung does not mention that it is a Galaxy S phone, but in the past ten years the manufacturer has used the name Galaxy Unpacked almost exclusively for the announcement of Galaxy S and Galaxy Note phones.
The invitation also shows the probable design of the camera module in a cube. That image matches the photos and renders of the Galaxy S21 that have appeared in recent months.
According to that information, the phones will be released at the end of January. There would be three models: an S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra, with prices ranging from 849 euros to 1399 euros. The presentation is planned for earlier than in previous years: Samsung announced the S20 series in mid-February last year. The Galaxy S phones from years before, the manufacturer often presented in February or March.
