Samsung offers Galaxy Home Mini speaker
Samsung has started offering its Galaxy Home Mini speaker. South Korean users can get it with a pre-order of a Galaxy S20 series phone. Samsung has still not announced its speaker.
Samsung lets people who place a pre-order choose between a Galaxy Home Mini speaker or a label printer, according to the site that TizenHelp found. Earlier, a page on the manufacturer’s site indicated that the speaker should be released on Wednesday, but that did not happen; the day has already passed in Samsung’s home country of South Korea.
In the deleted announcement, Samsung mentions the support of voice assistant Bixby and the presence of two microphones. The page also stated that the Galaxy Home Mini has 5W speakers from AKG. In November last year, Samsung showed that the speaker has infrared transmitters and receivers, which are intended for operating equipment without WiFi.
The Samsung Galaxy Home Mini should be the smaller version of the Galaxy Home speaker. This Galaxy Home speaker was unveiled in August 2018, but the release of this device has been delayed several times and is still pending.
In the meantime, Samsung has announced the S5KHM1. That is the primary camera of the Galaxy S20 Ultra. The sensor has 108 megapixels in a ‘nonacell’ layout, with groups of 3×3 pixels together. The announcement brings few new details.
