Samsung Galaxy View appears in webshop for $ 599

Web store Adorama has included the Samsung Galaxy View in its range. Samsung has not yet officially announced the device with 18.4 “screen, but thanks to the listing in the webshop, all specifications and the price are now known.

Last week, marketing material of the Samsung Galaxy View appeared online. The large tablet can now be seen in the Adorama webshop. The device has a built-in curved stand and is touted as a ‘portable, tactile TV experience’.

According to the specification list, the Galaxy View will have a screen with full HD resolution. The soc is an Exynos 7850 octa-core running at 1.6GHz, assisted by 2GB of ram. There is 32GB of storage, which can be expanded with a micro-SD card of up to 128GB. The device has GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 and a battery with a capacity of 5700mAh. That should be good for 8.5 hours of video playback.

The large tablet runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. There will be a WiFi variant and a version that also offers 3G and 4G support. Adorama offers the Galaxy View for 599 dollars, converted including VAT about 656 euros. It is not yet known when Samsung will officially announce the device. Rumor has it that this will happen this month.
