In the latest update of the Samsung Galaxy Wearable app, files have been found that indicate a Galaxy Watch 3 and the Galaxy Buds earbuds. Samsung has not officially announced either product yet.

Image data in the recently updated Galaxy Wearable app refers to the two new Samsung products, according to XDA Developers. The first product is a new smartwatch, which should be named Galaxy Watch 3. This name is striking, as Samsung has never released a Galaxy Watch 2. The first Galaxy Watch came on the market in mid-2018. Since then, Samsung has released a Galaxy Active and a Galaxy Active 2. Samsung probably fears that consumers will compare a Galaxy Watch 3 with the Active 2, a device that has been on sale since September 2019.

Earlier this month, a new Galaxy Watch version appeared at the FCC. According to the FCC, this new version will have dimensions of 41mm and 45mm. Optionally, the Watch 3 gets lte support. The watch also has support for WiFi and Bluetooth. The watch must be water resistant to a depth of 50 meters.

The second device mentioned in the Galaxy Wearable app will be named Buds Live, according to the data. The image refers to a bean-shaped ear. Less is known about these earplugs. According to tech journalist Evan Blass, Samsung is working on Galaxy Buds with active noise cancellation. Perhaps these Galaxy Buds Live will get this, as well as better internal speakers, writes XDA Developers.

According to the site, such app data points to products that are almost ready. Samsung may unveil the new devices in early August, along with the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Fold 2.
