Samsung announces NX3000 camera

Samsung has announced the NX3000 camera. According to the manufacturer, with its retro design, the camera is suitable for photographers who find ease of use and design important. The camera takes photos with 20.3 megapixels and has a folding 3” AMOLED screen.

The camera has a minimum shutter speed of 1/4000 second and shoots continuously at 5fps. The camera can film with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and the horizontally folding 3” AMOLED screen has touch control and has a resolution of 800×480 pixels. Images can be transferred wirelessly directly to tablets and smartphones by means of WiFi. A connection can be set up via NFC. The camera can be fully controlled via an app.

The NX3000 comes standard with a 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 lens with optical stabilization. The camera allows users to take selfies using the Wink Shot feature. The camera will take a photo immediately after it sees a wink. The NX3000 will be available at the end of May and will cost 499 euros.
