Samsung announces Galaxy A22 5G for 229 euros
Samsung will announce the Galaxy A22 5G on Thursday. The phone will cost 229 euros and will be available from the beginning of July. The new Samsung phone in the A-series will have a 6.6″ screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz.
As the name suggests, the Galaxy A22 5G supports 5G and is therefore also the cheapest Samsung smartphone with 5G support. With a suggested retail price of 229 euros, the A22 is slightly more expensive than its predecessor the A21.
The phone is equipped with a 48-megapixel camera, a 5-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel depth camera on the back. On the front is an 8-megapixel camera
The standard model of the Galaxy A22 5G has 4GB of RAM. There will also be a model with 6GB of RAM. For storage, there is a model with 64GB available and a model with 128GB.
The A22 also has a fingerprint scanner on the side to unlock the phone. Finally, the smartphone has a 5000mAh battery and can be supplied in three colors: gray, white and violet.
