SamMobile: Samsung Galaxy A52 5G gets 120Hz screen and A72 gets 90Hz screen
The Samsung Galaxy A52 and A72 phones will have a screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The 5G variant of the A52 would even get a 120Hz screen. Normally, such high refresh rates are only for more expensive phones.
The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G will get a Snapdragon 750G soc, according to SamMobile, which would be powerful enough to work with a 120Hz screen. The site says it has spoken to multiple sources that confirm the high refresh rates. The A52 and A72 phones will get a Snapdragon 720G soc. According to the website, it would be the first time that a Samsung phone has a screen with 90Hz. Samsung’s flagship phones have had 120Hz screens since the Galaxy S20 series.
SamMobile further writes that consumers can choose from 6GB or 8GB memory and 128GB or 256GB storage with the Galaxy A52 5G. This phone has a 6.5-inch full HD OLED panel with a 32-megapixel camera on the top. There are four cameras on the back, the primary camera has a 64-megapixel sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and two 5-megapixel sensors for a depth camera and a macro camera.
The smartphone gets a fingerprint scanner under the screen, a 4500mAh battery and can be charged with a maximum of 25W. The 4G variant of the A52 will probably get similar specifications. Samsung will probably show the new A52 and A72 phones next month.
