Sale of official Raspberry Pi keyboard and mouse starts
The sale of the official keyboard and mouse for the Raspberry Pi has started. Initially, the input combination is available in white with red accents. A version with black and gray accents will follow later.
The keyboard and mouse are compatible with any Raspberry Pi product. The keyboard has 79 keys in UK layout, but there are also models with layout for other countries. At least that’s what Pi Hut promises, the official Raspberry Pi sales channel. The keyboard also has three USB 2.0 type-a ports to connect peripherals such as the mouse. The company ships the keyboard with a micro USB adapter.
The Raspberry Pi mouse is an optical model with three buttons and a scroll wheel. The mouse is equipped with a USB type-a connector and, just like the keyboard, is currently only available in white with red. A black and gray variant will follow later.
The price for the combination is 22 British pounds, converted just over 25 euros. Separately, the keyboard and mouse cost about 18 and 9 euros respectively. Delivery starts Friday.
