Saints Row The Third Remastered is out May 22 22
A remaster of 2011’s Saints Row: The Third releases on May 22 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. The title recently appeared with the American Video Game Age Rating Organization and now Deep Silver has confirmed its arrival.
Saints Row The Third Remastered will receive the three previously released mission packs and all DLC content, involving more than thirty items, Deep Silver reports. The remaster was handled by Sperasoft. Changes include environments, character models and visual effects, as well as improved graphics and a new lighting engine. Also, all weapons have been remodeled, every car has been redesigned and most of the in-game city has been provided with new textures. Deep Silver speaks of a ‘complete makeover’.
The original Saints Row: The Third was published by THQ about nine years ago. The rights to the game series are currently owned by Koch Media, the owner of Deep Silver and the developer of the game, Violition. About a year ago this third title in the series was also released for the Nintendo Switch and at the end of last month Saints Row IV Re-Elected also became available for the portable console.
