Saints Row IV Coming to Nintendo Switch on March 27th
The game Saints Row IV, released in 2013, is making its way to the Nintendo Switch after almost seven years. The game will be released for console on March 27. The Switch version comes bundled with all previously released DLC.
Deep Silver let us know Saints Row IV Re-Elected will release on March 27 and will include all twenty-five previously released DLC packs, including two episodic story expansions called Enter The Dominatrix and How The Saints Save Christmas. Saints Row: Gat out of Hell, released in 2015, is not part of the Switch release; Deep Silver says on Twitter that that was a standalone game.
Saints Row IV was released in 2013 and lets players take on the role of the President of the United States, who has quite a few superpowers. It’s up to him and the player to defend our planet against Zin aliens, using a variety of bizarre weapons at their disposal.
Saints Row IV Re-Elected is not the first title in the series to be released for the Nintendo Switch. Saints Row: The Third was released for console last year. Digital Foundry, however, had the necessary criticism of that version. For example, the frame rate too often fell below 20 fps and there was quite a bit of input lag.
