Rumor: Xiaomi to release Redmi Note 11 phones next month
Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is set to launch its budget models in the Redmi Note 11 range next month. The phones would have 5G on board and receive a presentation on November 11.
Both phones get 5G support via the MediaTek Dimensity soc’s built-in modem. According to a well-known leaker on Weibo, the Redmi Note 11 is a Dimensity 810, the Pro version would have a Dimensity 920 on board. The difference between the two is that the 920 has two Cortex A78 cores while the 810 has A76 cores. The 920 also has a newer GPU, an Arm Mali G68, as opposed to a G57 from the 810.
The Note 11 would have a 120Hz LCD, while the Pro version would contain an OLED screen with the same refresh rate. The resolution is not listed, but Redmi Note phones have had full-HD screens for several years now.
The Note 11 would have a 50-megapixel camera on the back, the Pro version has a 108-megapixel camera, according to the leaker. The batteries both have a capacity of 5000mAh, but the Note 11 can charge it with 33W, while the Pro comes out at 67W. The most expensive phone from the Redmi Note 11 series, the Pro Max, will receive a system to charge with 120W, according to a previous rumor. The presentation would be on November 11. Besides being the eleventh day of the eleventh month, it is Singles Day in China. The price of the Redmi Note 11 would start converted at 160 euros, while the Pro should cost at 240 euros. When released in Europe, those prices are always higher.
