Xiaomi is said to be working on a GoPro competitor called Mi Camera that should be able to shoot at 4k resolution, while allowing users to shoot at 1080p at 120fps. The camera would cost around 130 euros.

The Mi Camera is rumored to have a 138-degree lens, according to GizChina and MyDrivers, while it also has Wi-Fi and can store images on SD cards with a maximum capacity of 128GB. There are no further details about the camera yet.

If Xiaomi starts selling the camera, it won’t be the only smartphone maker making a GoPro competitor. HTC recently released a periscope-style camera called Re. In addition to smartphones, the manufacturer also makes a tablet, router and TV. When Xiaomi plans to present the camera is unknown. Also, Xiaomi, third in the global smartphone market, has not yet said when it will sell its products itself in Europe.
