WinFuture journalist Roland Quand reports on Twitter the prices of the different configurations of the Xiaomi 12T range. The 12T with 8GB ram and 128GB storage may cost 580 euros and the 256GB version 630 euros. With the 12T Pro, the version with 8GB of ram and 256GB of storage may cost 770 euros. There is also a variant with 12GB of ram, which, according to Quandt, will have a price tag of 800 euros.

The prices quoted mean that the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro would be cheaper than the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro right after release. To reduce costs, a plastic housing may have been chosen instead of a metal frame. The 12T series is likely to be unveiled during the upcoming Xiaomi event on October 4.

According to GSMArena Both devices in the 12T series will have a 6.67 “amoled screen with a resolution of 1220×2712 pixels, which falls between FullHD and QHD+. In addition, the screens are said to have a refresh rate of 120Hz. The devices get the same 5000mAh battery and support 120W -fast charging.

The differences between the two devices may mainly concern the cameras and the soc. The 12T Pro may have a 200-megapixel camera. The standard 12T would have a 108-megapixel camera, according to GSMArena. The other cameras are the same for both devices. This includes an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 20-megapixel front camera. The Pro model reportedly has the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 soc that can also be found in the 12S devices. This subseries is only available in China. The 12T is apparently the Dimensity 8100 Ultra.
