Rumor: WhatsApp is working on business plan to link more devices
WhatsApp is working on a business subscription, according to WABetaInfo, with which ten devices can be linked to the same account at the same time. The maximum is now four. It is unknown if the subscription will offer anything more than a higher device limit.

The subscription will be specific to business customers, says WABetaInfo. There will be no subscription for regular users. Those business customers can then communicate with multiple employees at the same time via WhatsApp, because they can use the chat app on up to ten devices at the same time.
WABetaInfo does not know if the subscription will offer more features. It is also unknown if and when the subscription will come and what it will cost. The option to use WhatsApp on multiple devices at once is relatively new and has been around since last year. Before that, the primary phone on which the account was located had to be online at all times.
WABetaInfo extracts information from test versions of the chat app and has provided early notifications about new features and options in WhatsApp in recent years. The Meta subsidiary has not yet responded to the information about the business subscription.
