Rumor: The Sims 4 will be released on September 2
EA’s highly anticipated game The Sims 4 is set to release on September 2. This is evident from promotional material that appeared at the American retail chain Walmart. EA will officially announce the release date during the E3 trade show.
The September 2 date was mentioned on a promotional poster for The Sims 4 posted in a Walmart store. A photo of the poster was posted online on Sims VIP. Although publisher EA has not confirmed the release date, the company did announce that more will be announced during the upcoming E3 fair.
Those interested can pre-order The Sims 4 for some time and EA already announced last year that the game would be released in the fall of 2014. For now, however, no specific release date has been announced by the publisher.
Prior to release, Russia raised the minimum age to play the game to 18. The Sims 4 keeps people busy because it is possible to have gay relationships in the game. Russia recently passed a law banning “gay propaganda” on the premise that it is harmful to children.
