Rumor: Samsung will release a Galaxy S22 Fan Edition after all

Samsung may still come to the market with a Galaxy S22 FE. The Fan Edition of the S22 should be released sometime in 2023 and would cost slightly less than the standard S22 according to reports.

According to a Twitterer who often comes up with rumors about Samsung, the company would still announce a release of a Galaxy S22 FE smartphone are preparing. On the Samsung forum a similar message has appeared about the Fan Edition.

The Galaxy S22 FE will have a 4nm Exynos 2300 chipset and a 108-megapixel camera. Few other details are known about the phone. According to the rumor, the phone will replace the A74. The phone should also be cheaper than the Galaxy S22 and therefore appears to be a lite version of the flagship model again.

Samsung has been releasing a lite version of its flagship phone for a number of years. Normally, the Galaxy S22 FE should have already appeared and that is why many people thought that Samsung would no longer launch an FE edition. The last Fan Edition was the Galaxy S21 FE.
