Samsung is said to be planning to release new high-end tablets with larger screen sizes than the brand’s current models. It would be tablets with screens of 12.4″ and 11″. Samsung’s largest high-end tablet now has a 10.5″ screen.

According to SamMobile, it concerns the successors of the Galaxy Tab S6 models. Samsung is said to be working on two tablets with model numbers SM-T97x and SM-T87x. As with current models, there would be Wi-Fi only versions and Wi-Fi and 5G variants.

The screen ratio of the new tablets is not mentioned. Apple uses 12.9″ and 11″ screens with a 4:3 ratio for its iPad Pro models. Samsung’s latest tablets have a wider 16:10 ratio. It is not clear whether this will also be the case with the new models.

Nothing is yet known about the specifications of the Tab S6 successors, but it is likely that the new tablets will be equipped with fast hardware. The specifications of Samsung’s high-end tablets are usually comparable to those of the latest Galaxy S phones.
