Rumor: Samsung is porting a large number of apps to iOS
Samsung reportedly wants to port almost all of its apps to iOS. The rumor was picked up by the generally reliable Sammobile. Samsung would, among other things, soon come with an iOS version of the Gear Fit Manager.
That way, people who have a Gear Fit can also pair it with an iPhone. With the Gear Fit Manager and Gear Manager apps, Samsung will also bring the S Health app to iOS. That last app is for logging daily activities, tracking workouts, sleep rhythm and food intake.
Furthermore, according to Sammobile, Samsung wants to build support for the Galaxy View on iOS, including the Remote Control and Family Square app to remotely control the Galaxy View via an iPhone so that different users can stream different content to the 18.4″-sized tablet.
The Korean company is also said to have the Level app for Level audio devices in the works for iOS. The already existing Smart Camera app for iOS devices is reportedly getting a new look to make operating Samsung’s “smart” cameras easier with the remote viewfinder.
