Samsung is said to be working on four smartphones with its own Tizen mobile operating system. The details of these devices are not yet clear, although other rumors are that the first smartphone with Tizen will be released in Russia and India.

These are smartphones with model numbers SM-Z500, SM-Z700, SM-Z900, and SM-Z910, such as reports Evleaks, who often reports details about unannounced aircraft first. Nothing is known about the specifications yet, although given the model numbers, the SM-Z910 seems to be the most high-end. Samsung previously announced that it will soon release its first smartphone with Tizen and that it is a high-end model.

Samsung also indicated that it will release Tizen smartphones in countries where success is expected. This makes it plausible that these are not countries in Western Europe or the United States, where Android and iOS are dominant. According to The Wall Street Journal, Samsung plans to release its first Tizen smartphone in Russia and India, and will announce the device at an Unpacked event in Moscow in the coming weeks. The sources of the American business newspaper also state that Samsung is working on a version of Tizen that can be used on TVs, although there are no clearly defined plans for this yet.

The Korean manufacturer has long had plans to bring a smartphone with its own Tizen operating system on the market, but has already postponed this a number of times. However, the company recently launched smartwatches based on Tizen.
