Samsung is starting a cloud gaming service, according to a new rumor. This would allow users of Galaxy phones and tablets to stream games without subscription costs.

Samsung does not charge fixed subscription fees, but game makers will probably charge money for in-game purchases. reports Korea Economic Daily. Because those purchases do not have to go through the Play Store, there is no 30 percent commission like Google charges. Samsung charges a lower commission. Samsung has its own Galaxy Store download store on all devices. Downloads and payments could be made via that app.

Samsung reportedly wants to announce the game streaming service at its own developer conference on Thursday. The manufacturer has been in discussions with the game maker about the service for some time. In addition, there is already a closed beta in Canada. The service should be released this month. Samsung has not responded to the rumor.
