Rumor: Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Pro will have a rotating ring around the screen

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Pro again gets a rotating ring around the screen for operating the interface. The rotating bezel was missing on the Watch 5 Pro, but was previously present on many models of Samsung watches.

Only the Watch 6 Pro will again have a physical ring for operation, claims Super Roader. He has often been right in the past, claims SamMobile. Samsung typically releases its Galaxy Watch models in August, so a release would normally take another five months.

The Watch 4 Classic is the last Samsung watch to have the physical ring around the screen. Other models also have the option to operate the interface by making a rotating movement, but this is done without a physical ring and with a touch-sensitive area around the screen. Samsung is the only major smartwatch maker that uses this method of operation.

The regular Watch 6 will have that touch-sensitive edge instead of the physical ring, Super Roader claims. This happened previously with the fourth generation, where the Watch 4 has the touch-sensitive bezel and the Classic version has the physical bezel.
