Rumor: Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro earplugs are priced at $ 199
New details of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro have appeared. The earplugs would get a suggested retail price of $ 199, according to leaked slides. The Galaxy Buds Pro are expected to be announced in January.
The slides are published by Twitter user WalkingCat, which more often shares details about unannounced products. The slides mention a battery life of up to 8 hours when audio is played. With the supplied case, this is increased to a maximum of 28 hours of listening time. The earplugs would also receive an IP-x7 rating for water resistance. This means that the Galaxy Buds Pro should last up to 30 minutes underwater at a maximum depth of one meter.

The Galaxy Buds Pro will again have a design with two speakers, just like the current Galaxy Buds +. Those earplugs have a tweeter and a dome speaker for high and low tones, respectively. Furthermore, the slides show that the Galaxy Buds Pro earplugs support the Bixby voice assistant.
A slide also mentions ‘intelligent’ noise cancellation. Samsung provides this function with a call mode, among other things. Users can also set the noisecancellation level. The slides also mention an ‘ambient sound’ feature, about which details appeared earlier this week. With ambient sound, outside sound enters through the three integrated microphones. The earplugs would also get 3d audio and automatic speech recognition.
Previously, renders of the Galaxy Buds Pro appeared, which were published by EvLeaks. According to rumors, Samsung will release the Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds simultaneously with the Galaxy S21 smartphones. These are expected to be announced on January 14 and will be available a few weeks later.
