Rumor: Pixel 4a has been delayed until early June
Google will not release the Pixel 4a smartphone in May, but in early June. That claims a German blogger based on information from provider Vodafone. The device would be delivered from June 5. Earlier that was May 22.
The Pixel 4a recently appeared in a Vodafone internal system with a May 22 release date, but that has now been updated in June 5, Caschys Blog writes . He also shows a screenshot of what a Vodafone backend would be.
Google has an event scheduled for June 3. The Android maker will then present the beta of Android 11 and will tell you more about new features in the operating system. Google may also use that presentation to announce the Pixel 4a.
Google was previously expected to show the Pixel 4a at its I / O conference, but that event has been canceled. In recent months, almost all information about the device has already been leaked, because prototypes are already in the hands of YouTubers.
As far as is known, the Pixel 4a gets a 5.8 “OLED screen with a hole for the front camera. The device runs on a Snapdragon 730 soc, has 6GB ram and 64GB flash storage. On the back is a single 12-megapixel camera and the battery has a capacity of 3040mAh.
