OpenAI is said to be working on a variant of Dall-E that takes videos instead of photos. This is reported by Semafor. There should also be an app from ChatGPT, the chatbot that can now only be accessed via the web.

ChatGPT about video in Dall-E and Bing

For the time being, this is a planned test of the function, reports Semafor. Dall-E generates images based on prompts, so should be able to do that with videos. It is unknown what kind of videos it would be. Semafor does not mention details. Nothing is known about the planned app for ChatGPT either.

In addition, the site says that Microsoft’s search engine Bing will test an integrated version of the unreleased GPT-4 in the coming weeks. That should work much faster than the current GPT-3, on which ChatGPT is also based. GPT-4 should give Bing the ability to respond quickly. The rumor that Microsoft wanted to use the technology in Bing went before.

Microsoft and OpenAI would like to do that using a supercomputer announced several years ago. That should make it possible to process many more prompts much faster and cheaper. At the moment, each prompt costs a few cents, OpenAI previously said.
