Rumor: OnePlus 9 supports wireless charging with 30W

The OnePlus 9 may receive support for wireless charging at 30W. The phone would also get a 4500mAh battery, according to 91Mobiles, and charge just as fast on the cable as the 8T that came out this fall.

91Mobiles has images of the phone, and more information it would have gotten from a source. Images show how the phone has a small hole in the top left of the screen for the front camera, but it is not known what resolution it has. According to 91Mobiles, this is the standard version of the phone, not the Pro model.

According to the source of 91Mobiles, the OnePlus 9 also supports reverse wireless charging, just like the 8 Pro. Wireless charging has only integrated OnePlus into its 8 Pro model so far. In addition to wireless charging with 30W, it is possible to charge the phone wired with 65W, just like the previous OnePlus 8T. The battery of the device is said to have the same capacity as the 8T with 4500mAh.

The OnePlus 9 models are expected to be released next year. It would then be three models: a OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, but also a ‘light’ version. Renders of the Pro variant were already released earlier.
