Rumor: OnePlus 10T will get Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 soc and 150W fast charging
The upcoming OnePlus 10T smartphone may get a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 soc. That claims a Chinese leaker on Weibo. The phone could also charge at 150W, where the current OnePlus 10 Pro can fast charge at up to 80W.
The OnePlus 10T would include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, writes Digital Chat Station on Weibo† That Chinese leaker often shares correct information about smartphones at an early stage. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 has higher clock speeds than the regular Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and is produced at 4nm by TSMC instead of Samsung. According to the leaker, the new smartphone will also receive better fast charging technology, with a power of up to 150W via a supplied charger. The battery capacity is 4800mAh, claims the leaker.
Furthermore, the smartphone would have a 6.67 “OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 1080p resolution. The 16-megapixel camera is placed in a punch-hole in the screen and on the back there will be a primary 50-megapixel camera, an 8 megapixel sensor with ultra-wide angle lens and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. It is not known when the phone will be released exactly, but it is expected to be released this fall.
