Rumor: OnePlus 10 Pro gets support for 125W fast charging
The upcoming OnePlus 10 Pro may get support for wired fast charging at 125W. The Realme GT 2 Pro and several Oppo phones are also said to support 125W fast charging. It is not known with what power the phones can charge wirelessly.
The details have surfaced on the Chinese social medium Weibo and have been shared by, among others, the reliable Indian leaker Mukul Sharma. The OnePlus 10 Pro, Realme GT2 Pro, Oppo Find X4 series, Oppo N series and Oppo Reno 8 Pro are said to support 125W charging. The smartphones will probably use the Flash Charge technology that Oppo already demonstrated last year. This allows a 4000mAh battery to be fully charged within 20 minutes, Oppo claims. No phones with Oppo Flash Charge have been released yet.
Possible renders of the OnePlus 10 Pro appeared earlier this month. Those were shared by OnLeaks and Zouton. The smartphone will have a large camera island with four sensors and possibly also a 6.7 “amoled screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The battery capacity may be 5000mAh, although OnLeaks and Zouton report that this may change. The current OnePlus 9 Pro has a 4500mAh battery and supports 65W fast charging.
