Rumor: Nvidia to release GTX 1650 next month

Nvidia is working on a new GTX card with Turing GPU. That GTX 1650 is rumored to be coming out next month. The card would take a spot in Nvidia’s lineup under the GTX 1660 and GTX 1660 Ti, which are also yet to be released.

Videocardz writes to be sure that the GTX 1650 will appear and that would mean that the GTX series with Turing GPUs will have suffixes in the form of 16xx. The site further speculates that the video cards will get a TU117 GPU.

The rumor about the arrival of the video card follows reports that Nvidia is about to release the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. Various images and specifications of this card have already been published. The video card would have a TU116 GPU with 1536 Cuda cores and 6GB gddr6-vram, but would not contain RT cores for ray tracing.

According to further rumors, the GeForce GTX 1660 will follow at the beginning of March, without a Ti designation, but also with the TU116 GPU. Nvidia would have activated fewer Cuda cores and the card may also get lower clock speeds and a 3GB variant.
