Rumor: Nvidia to release GeForce RTX 3090 Ti on January 27
Nvidia may release a GeForce RTX 3090 Ti on January 27. This is evident from leaked documents in the hands of VideoCardz. The company is also set to release a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 16GB on January 11.
VideoCardz reports that the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti will go on sale on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 3 p.m. GMT. The tech site has seen documents shared with Nvidia’s board partners, stating, for example, release dates for upcoming products. Announcement dates for the RTX 3090 Ti are missing, but Nvidia will hold a CES presentation on January 4. According to previous rumors, the upcoming video card will have slightly more CUDA cores and faster memory than the GeForce RTX 3090.
The website has also learned that Nvidia will announce a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 16GB on December 17. It must then go on sale on January 11. This video card may be largely similar to the current RTX 3070 Ti, with 6144 CUDA cores and the same clock speeds. The GPU only has 16GB of memory, compared to 8GB in the current RTX 3070 Ti.
There have also been rumors about a GeForce RTX 3050 for desktops. This video card should include a GA106-150 GPU with 3072 CUDA cores and 8GB GDDR6 memory. VideoCardz now writes that this video card will be announced on January 4, during CES. That video card should then be released on January 27, along with the alleged GeForce RTX 3090 Ti. Rumors had previously circulated that this video card would appear in the second quarter of 2022. The company would also come with a GeForce RTX 3080 12GB, but no announcement date or release date has yet been announced.
