Rumor: Nvidia RTX 4070 will be available for purchase from April 13

Nvidia is rumored to introduce the RTX 4070 on April 13. Earlier rumors also pointed to the introduction of the video card in the month of April. It’s not yet clear how much the RTX 4070 will ultimately cost.

The rumor comes from Twitter user and leaker Hongxing2020 die according to VideoCardz has provided reliable information about Nvidia GPU releases in the past. The leaker does not provide any further details beyond the date. VideoCardz notes that there will be an event on March 21st where Nvidia’s CEO will give a keynote and presumably talk about upcoming products.

It is not the first time that rumors about the RTX 4070 have been spread. Tech website Wccftech published presumed specifications of the RTX 4070 a few months ago published. It would contain 5,888 CUDA cores, 12GB of GDDR6X memory and 36MB of L2 cache memory. The RTX 4070 has a TDP of 200W, according to VideoCardz.
