Rumor: Nvidia GTX 1650 will be available around April 22

Nvidia GTX 1650 video cards will be released around April 22, according to a new rumor. Perhaps the budget video card will be announced earlier. A GTX 1650 Ti variant is also expected, but when it will come is not yet clear.

According to VideoCardz, video card manufacturers are preparing for the release of the GTX 1650 video cards around April 22. In recent months, numerous indications have appeared about the arrival of the cards and it turned out that there will in any case be variants with 4GB vram.

It is possible that Nvidia will announce the GeForce GTX 1650 earlier and that reviews will appear online before April 22, the rumor website writes. As with the GTX 1660 and 1660 Ti, there will be no Founders Edition from Nvidia, so reviews will be based on graphics cards from Nvidia’s partners.

VideoCardz thinks that a GTX 1650 Ti will also follow, but when it will be released and what its specifications are, is not yet clear. It is likely that this is a variant with more Cuda cores than the GTX 1650, but with the same TU117 GPU. The Ti version of the budget card would also be the last card in the GTX 16xx series. The arrival of faster variants without cores for ray tracing therefore seems to have been discontinued.

Prices of the GTX 1650 and the possible Ti version are not yet known. The video cards succeed the GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti, which are currently for sale from around 125 and 144 euros respectively. The recently released GTX 1660 and 1660 Ti currently cost around 235 and 278 euros.
