Rumor: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 video card gets AD107 GPU with 3072 CUDA cores
Nvidia’s upcoming GeForce RTX 4060 desktop graphics card may feature an AD107 GPU with 3072 CUDA cores and a power consumption of 115W. Well-known Nvidia leaker kopite7kimi reports this. It is not known when the video card should come out.
Kopite7kimi reports on Twitter that the RTX 4060 desktop video card gets an AD107-400 GPU. This leaker often shares correct information about Nvidia GPUs before they come out. According to kopite7kimi, the gpu will get 3072 CUDA cores. This should also give the card 96 Tensor cores and 24 cores for ray tracing. The RTX 4060 desktop video card would get the same chip as the previously announced RTX 4060 for laptops, which also has 3072 CUDA cores. The tgp of 115W is also the same in both the desktop and laptop variant.
In addition, the video card must have 8GB of GDDR6 memory with a speed of 18Gbit/s. The leaker does not mention any information about the memory bus. However, the RTX 4060 for laptops has a 128-bit memory bus. If that also applies to the desktop variant, the RTX 4060 offers a bandwidth of 288GB/s. Furthermore, the RTX 4060 gets 24MB L2 cache.
The GeForce RTX 4060 does not yet have a concrete release date. It is also not yet known what the video card will cost. Rumors have been circulating for some time about the arrival of lower-positioned RTX 40 GPUs. For example, there was already talk about a possible RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4070. The latter is rumored to be released in April. The graphics cards will be based on the Ada Lovelace architecture, which was previously introduced in the higher-ranking RTX 4090, RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 Ti.
RTX 4060 still uses PG190.

I will try to remain neutral about any leaks in the future. 😁😁😁
