HMD Global, the Finnish company that is allowed to release phones with the Nokia brand name, will come with a new version of the 3310, according to telecom insider Evan Blass. The device would be a tribute to the classic and will receive a price of 59 euros.

According to Evan Blass’ article on VentureBeat, HMD Global will announce the new Nokia 3310 at Mobile World Congress in late February. Details about the phone are not yet available, but it is presumably a dumbphone, which, just like the original, can take a beating and has a long battery life. It is not clear to what extent the new device has the same appearance as the device from the year 2000.

It is also not yet known which operating system the device runs on, but HMD also announced two dumbphones at the end of 2016, which run on Nokia’s Series 30+. It seems likely that the new 3310 variant will also use that operating system.

Together with the Nokia 3310 variant, according to Blass, HMD will present the Nokia 3, 5 and 6 phones with Android 7 for the European market. The Nokia 6, which was already released in China, will probably get a price of 249 euros in Europe. The 5.5-inch device has a Snapdragon 430-soc, 4GB of RAM and a 16-megapixel camera.

The Nokia 5 with 5.2 “screen would get the same soc, but have to make do with 2GB of ram and a twelve-megapixel camera. This would be offset by a lower price of 199 euros. Finally, HMD will probably come with the Nokia 3, which costs 149 euros. costs, but the specifications of the budget model are not yet clear.
