Rumor: next high-end iPad has 10 to 10.5 “screen
Apple’s next high-end iPad tablet will have a screen between 10″ and 10.5″. That writes analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who is known for his accurate predictions about Apple products. It is one of three new iPads that should be released this spring.
The model with the screen between 10″ and 10.5″ has narrower screen bezels than current models from the iPad Air and Pro series, so the housing would be about the same size as the current 9.7″ models. The iPad with the slightly larger screen would run on an Apple A10X soc, writes 9to5 Mac.
The second iPad that Kuo speaks of is the successor to the current 12.9″ tablet in the iPad Pro series. It would again be a device with a 12.9″ screen and, like the smaller model, it will receive an A10X- soc. The cheapest should be a 9.7 “iPad with A9-soc, writes Kuo. The analyst has the highest expectations of this, because it has the lowest price and therefore probably the most over the counter.
The blog MacOkatara wrote in November that the new high-end iPad would come out on a 10.9″ screen. The Touch ID fingerprint scanner would be in the screen. Apple last presented a new iPad last spring. That was then. the 9.7″ variant of the iPad Pro.
