Rumor: Motorola G5S Plus gets 5.5″ screen and dual camera
According to rumors, the successor to the Motorola G5 Plus will have a larger screen, and it will have two cameras on the back. This G5S Plus is likely to be announced by parent company Lenovo later this month.
The screen of the rumored G5S Plus would be 5.5 “in diagonal, while the previous model has to make do with 5.2”. The resolution would remain the same with 1920×1080 pixels, according to Venturebeat. The site got its hands on marketing material from the as yet unannounced smartphone. Furthermore, the housing would be made of aluminum, while the G5 Plus is mainly made of plastic. On the back, the G5S Plus would have two cameras of 13 megapixels each, and an 8-megapixel camera would be built in the front.
Venturebeat states that things like the processor and ram remain the same. That means that Motorola again uses the Snapdragon 625-soc from Qualcomm, and that the ram is 4GB. The storage memory would also not be changed with 64GB compared to the previously released model in the series.
Earlier it appeared that parent company Lenovo has sent invitations to the media for the presumed presentation of new Motorola smartphones. In addition to the G5S Plus, it is probably the regular G5S, successor to the G5. Lenovo will make its announcements on July 25.
