Rumor: Microsoft will release Surface Laptop 4 on April 27

Microsoft is rumored to be releasing the Surface Laptop 4 on April 27. WinFuture claims that based on its own information. The medium also publishes possible suggested retail prices of the laptops.

German tech site WinFuture says it does not know whether a press event will be held before April 27 to announce the Surface Laptop 4 models. WinFuture regularly publishes correct information about unannounced products, as it already released information about the Surface Laptop 4 models earlier this year.

WinFuture also publishes alleged suggested retail prices, which the website says were published due to “a mistake by a major retailer.” The 13.5″ variant with Intel Core i5 CPU and 512GB storage would be available from 1499 euros, while the Surface Laptop 4 13.5″ with Ryzen 5 processor and a 256GB SSD would have a starting price of 1149 euros. The Surface Laptop 4 15″ with an Intel Core i7 processor would be available from 1999 euros, while the medium lists a starting price of 1499 euros for a 15″ model with Ryzen 7 chip.

Earlier this year, the website stated that the upcoming Surface Laptops will come with Intel Tiger Lake or AMD Ryzen 4000 Surface Edition CPUs. The latter processors would use AMD’s Zen 2 cores, and not the more recent Zen 3 microarchitecture. The AMD laptops would also be supplied with a maximum of 16GB of memory and 512GB of storage, while the 15″ variant with an Intel CPU would have a maximum of 32GB of memory and a 1TB SSD. The laptops would also have a 49Wh battery and be made of aluminum. .
