Intel may release its fourteenth generation Core desktop processors on October 17. Sources report this to the usually well-informed VideoCardz. These CPUs are a refresh of Intel’s current Raptor Lake series, which was released last year.

Sources report to VideoCardz that Intel will release the Raptor Lake Refresh processors on Tuesday, October 17. According to that medium, the first reviews will appear on the same date. Intel has also imposed an ‘ad embargo’ for October 16. Retailers will probably be allowed to accept preorders for the processors from then on.

Intel will initially release six processors, VideoCardz claims: the Core i9-14900K, Core i7-14700K, Core i5-14600K and their respective KF variants without integrated GPU. Later, Intel may release other 14th Gen Core processors. Recently leaked the rumored lineup of the Raptor Lake Refresh serieswhich consisted of 25 different models.

There have been rumors going around about Intel’s Raptor Lake Refresh for some time now. The company is expected to announce the processors at its Intel Innovation event. The company previously said it would share more details about its upcoming consumer products in September. It also shows its Meteor Lake chips, which have a completely new architecture, but will reportedly only be available for laptops.
